Nordveil — Ukraine engagement
Components, services and reconstruction across Ukraine
Nordveil supports Nordic manufacturers, suppliers and investors operating in Ukraine — from subsystems, components and industrial services to dual-use technology and reconstruction programmes. As the market opens toward a post-war footing, we work alongside front-line operators, former senior Ukrainian officials and vetted local counsel through a Nordic–Ukrainian structure.
02 — Ukraine engagement
Components, services and reconstruction — handled on the ground
Most complete-platform makers already have a presence in Ukraine. Nordveil focuses one layer deeper: suppliers of components and subsystems, industrial and engineering services, dual-use technology and reconstruction-ready capability — coordinated with people who are already on the ground as the market opens toward a post-war footing.
Our competence
People already in the room
Front-line operator network
Direct advisory access to Ukrainian operators with current UAV and unmanned ground experience, including evacuation and forward logistics.
State procurement familiarity
Former senior Ukrainian officials with first-hand experience across central government, regional administration, state energy and European integration — including ministerial advisory roles, leadership at the national grid operator and dialogue with Ukroboronprom — alongside joint-venture structuring on the Ukrainian side.
Vetted local counsel
Ukrainian legal counsel with international practice, screened for integrity, covering company formation, contracting and capital movement.
Brand and growth track record
Senior marketing and business-development leads with Ukrainian energy-sector and international consumer-brand experience. Identities shared under NDA.
Our offer
From validation to procurement and capital
- 01
Field validation in operational environments
Structured testing of dual-use and defence technology with Ukrainian end-users, with feedback loops back to the manufacturer.
- 02
Procurement dialogue with state buyers
Preparation, positioning and accompaniment in dialogue with Ukrainian state buyers, including Ukroboronprom-track engagements.
- 03
Coordinated capital and contracting
EU holding and Ukrainian operating entity set up as a Nordic–Ukrainian joint venture, so capital flows and contracts are handled within a workable structure.
- 04
Marketing and business development
Optional add-on for clients building a longer-term Ukrainian presence — brand, partner network and growth strategy on the ground.
Our modus operandi
Quiet, local, GDPR-aware
Discreet by default
Identities of advisors, counsel and counterparts are shared under NDA, not on a website.
Local, not parachuted
Engagements run through Ukrainian partners with in-country presence, under retainer.
GDPR-aware
Information shared with us is handled under GDPR with clear lawful basis, minimisation and retention.
Single client or consortium
Same model applies whether one manufacturer engages alone or several coordinate through a consortium.
Identities of advisors, counsel and counterparts are shared under NDA.
04 — Approach
A documented progression from briefing to next step
- 01
Initial briefing
An initial conversation, held in confidence, to establish objectives, jurisdictional context and the parameters of any subsequent engagement.
- 02
Mandate and scope
A written mandate defines scope, deliverables, retainer and the compliance perimeter, including applicable export-control and sanctions considerations.
- 03
Coordinated work
Work is conducted through the EU and Ukrainian entities under documented procedures, with structured reporting at agreed intervals.
- 04
Coordinated next step
Each phase concludes with a formal review and a recommended next step, agreed in writing before any further commitment is made.
04 — Begin a dialogue
Request a briefing
A first conversation about your Ukraine objectives — defence, dual-use or reconstruction — and how an engagement could be structured. Held in confidence.
